GOSDEN HOUSE SCHOOL
DON ROWAN TROPHY CITATION

Gosden House has helped thousands of children since being established more than 50 years ago. Gosden House is a Special needs school for students with a learning difficulty from 5 - 16 years.

Cricket is played by both the primary and secondary children. Teachers Sue and Reena's passion for the sport flows to every child participating in cricket.

There is always a warm welcome from the teachers and children which stays with visitors long after leaving the grounds of this deserving school. The smiles, enthusiasm and progress is the evidence that cricket in this school is a huge benefit in the development of these children.

Curriculum training has been happening over the last two years and the school has enjoyed inter class competitions and this year they will host and take part in a festival with other schools. Also this year there will be an after school club for the first time for school students and other local children who have enjoyed their experience of cricket and would like to take it to the next level.
